I used to prep for hours...because I didn’t trust myself.

Reader,

I used to spend hours preparing for a single client call.

I’m talking multiple documents, dozens of tabs, meticulous breakdowns of their Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile, Centers, Variables, Gates…

Then cross-analyzing all of that through the lens of business.
Running every question they submitted through their chart.
Outlining what I thought they needed to hear.
Trying to predict every direction we might go.

It became exhausting.
Not because I didn’t love the work, but because I was trying to prove something with it.

To myself.
To my clients.
To the invisible voices in my head whispering,
“You’d better be prepared.”
“You’d better sound smart.”
“You’d better earn this.”

And every time I sat down to coach someone, I’d have pages of notes at my side ready to pull from.

But then…I wouldn’t use any of them.

What I actually did was close my eyes, tune into their energy, and speak from a place I couldn’t document if I tried.

Because here’s what I eventually had to admit:

I wasn’t coaching from the prep.
I was coaching from my design.

From my open Head and open Emotional Center - tuning into what they were feeling but not saying.
From my Splenic knowing - clear, immediate, precise.
From my defined Throat - speaking directly to what needed to be voiced, with language I didn’t plan ahead of time.

It was never the strategy slides.
It was never the notes.
It was me.

It was the way I could feel them.
The way my Projector aura penetrated below their surface.
The way I could track the anxiety behind their words, name the gap between their intention and their energy, and speak to it without flinching.

The only problem...

I didn’t trust that at first.

Not because it didn’t work.
But because I had internalized a story that my knowing wasn’t enough.

That I had to prove it.
Prepare for it.
Back it up with “something real.”

Which *spoiler alert* is the shadow of the undefined Ego Center in its not-self: always needing to prove its worth.

Once I saw that...

Everything shifted.

I stopped prepping to perform.
And started showing up to feel.

My sessions got lighter.
Sharper.
More alive.
More honest.
More mine.

And my clients felt it too.

✴︎ This week’s SoulFull Shift:

If you’re prepping from devotion, beautiful.
But if you’re prepping from fear? From lack? From the belief that your wisdom alone isn’t enough?

That’s not service. That’s self-protection.

And it will keep you stuck in a loop of trying to earn the brilliance you already hold.

There is nothing professional about abandoning your own authority.

You don’t need more data to prove your gift.
You need space to let it speak.

☉ Try this instead:

1. Ask yourself: “Am I trying to prove I’m good...or just being it?”
Then let your next session come from being.

2. Close your notes. Listen instead.
If you catch yourself reaching for the “right” answer, pause. The truth is probably already on the tip of your tongue.

3. Let your design lead the session.
Open Emotional? Feel them.
Open Head? Track where their mind is scattered.
Splenic? Say the thing you just know, without explaining how you know it.

You were never meant to coach from a script.
You were designed to see what no one else sees.

Stop diluting your magic for the sake of sounding “put together.”
You’re not here to be polished.

You’re here to be piercingly true.

xo,
Jenna

Reader, I used to treat the algorithm like a god. I’d post at the “right” time.Follow the hooks.Play with the line spacing.Churn out short-form content like it was the golden ticket. And for a while, it worked...Until it didn’t. One week I’d get reach. The next? Crickets. One post would convert. The next ten? Nothing.I’d tweak, test, try again...assuming I was the variable that needed fixing. But here’s what no one tells you: The algorithm wasn’t built to support your business. It was built to...

Reader I’ve always been the one who needs a minute. Not because I don’t know what I want. Not because I’m indecisive. But because I feel everything before I act. I’ll sit with an offer idea for weeks before I say a word about it publicly.I’ll circle the outline of a masterclass for days...tweaking the bones, watching the energy shift...until suddenly it all drops in like lightning.I’ll hold back from launching while everyone else is sprinting, only to publish something in a 10-minute window...

Reader, In the early days of my business, I would prep for every single client session like it was a dissertation defense. I’m talking pages of notes.Pulling charts.Outlining talking points.Highlighting my Google Docs like I was about to lead a TED Talk on their Human Design. I needed to prove I was ready.I thought that’s what a “professional coach” did.Come prepared. Come polished. Anticipate every question before it was asked. But here’s what actually happened: I’d spend hours prepping…And...
